  • Engrish so Terribo!

My friend had this SMS sent to him...

"Every time i see you smile, my heart beating so FAST+STRONG... face like burning... so i never watch yr face over more than 30SEC..look, u r the deVil-Angel"

We laughed so hard.  We still laugh.  Every time I see him, in my canto accent I shout at the top of my lungs "You're the devil angel!"

Last week, this girl I met SMSed me after I asked where she was:

"I am with a girl friend.  We come to you.  Wanna together?"

I wrote back "Hell yeah!" but I don't think she understood.

Speaking of hell, this other girl once messaged me "Go to HALL!"  Apparently she was angry with me.

    I wrote back "Yo Mama!"

    She hasn't messaged me since.

  • Passing Me By

Sometimes life just seems to pass you by.  I get up every morning at 7:30.  Go to the kitchen and put a glass of soymilk in the microwave and set it for 1 minute.  Take my morning pee, brush my teeth, wash my face, pour a bowl of oatmeal, add the soymilk, eat my oatmeal and soymilk while thinking about the suit combo I'm going to wear to work, change, get into a cab, work all day, eat dinner, come home, shower and then go to bed.  That is my day.  Everyday.  Every fucking day.

There's more right?  There's got to be more!

7 Habits can be an answer to my problems I suppose.

Found out that two good friends from Toronto will be visiting me in Shanghai this August, I'm going to make sure they go to all the dirty places!

A friend of mine, Henry, is leaving Shanghai to live in Xiamen for a year.  People are really come and go here in Shanghai.  Only a handful of people ever go past 1 year, and the ones that do jump ship after 2.  By the time 3 comes, if you haven't left, you're usually in til at least 5.  It's emotionally taxing meeting people, befriending them, and then having to say goodbye to them.  That's one of the bad things about living out here.  That and the whores that I walk past every evening when I come home from work.  They're so dirty.  Them and yo Mama!
