This Saturday September 13, 2003, Solstice and Incognito "FINALLY" @ D8! Sinful RnB, Hip Hop and House music.
I didn't really like this flyer, I like the font but when I was told to design the flyer, I was told to take a scene from Lenny Kravitz's Are You Gonna Go My Way video. Reason being, D8's dance floor is kinda shaped like a dome inside, completely surrounded by a video screen so the guy we promote with, Tony, wanted to see that kind of effect. There goes my hot chick and some text routine. This took me a while to do
I watched Moulin Rouge for the first time yesterday. Great production! Since I've been doing events and marketing, I've started to notice the little things in movies, shows and events. I see the product placements (there was a bottle of Moet in there) and the colours, the lighting. All this stuff is such an art, must be so difficult to put together, let alone create in one's imagination.

Art is complicated, but the product placements are hilarious if you really look our for them. even when someone holds a bottle its always facing outwards "like if your really drunk that would happen hahah" not going to SS tonight, pegs thurs?...kisses J *poof*

i watched an elton john tribute and his gay partner said they kinda just wrote it over reading the newspaper at breakfast. "you'd think the song was written by someone who had never been laid in his life, but that's far from the truth"
