  • Know Anyone Looking for a Job in SH?

    Received an urgent call regarding a job opportunity in Shanghai.


    Please kindly disseminate the info. to those who may be interested in receiving it:


    ¡¤ Term: Sept. 1 2002 (1 year term preferred; if not, half a year is OK)
    ¡¤ Provisions: Vancouver-Shanghai air return ticket (and also one vacation air return ticket)
    ¡¤ including accommodation, transportation, meals, insurance
    ¡¤ Cdn 25,000-$30,000/year (They will pay income tax for the employee. She will not have to file income tax return and she needs not pay any income tax to the Chinese Government)
    ¡¤ Duties: to teach English to 3-6 year old children (they are the children of foreign diplomats in Shanghai)
    ¡¤ Class size: less than 20 children
    ¡¤ Working hours--30 hours in a work week; six hours a day; five days a week
    ¡¤  a one bedroom room apartment will be provided to the candidate for her private use. She will not need to share with any people.
    ¡¤  Lunch and breakfast will be provided.
    ¡¤ The name of the Kindergarten is called Shanghai Wu Nan Kindergarten, one of the top 10 in China and is considered to be the best in Shanghai.
    ¡¤ Qualifications: University graduate, native speaker of English, preferably a female Canadian
    ¡¤ They will help the successful candidate obtain a Chinese visa.
